I gained three pounds.
And I know exactly how.
I ate a diet-limited item in excess quantity these last couple of days.
That item is salt.
Salt causes me to gain water weight, making healthy weight loss extra difficult. Why have I made life unnecessarily harder for myself?
The answer is simple. I have a salt craving.
So, having acknowledged my setback, I have a “win” to report: the best workout session I’ve had at the gym in a long time.
I walked the indoor YMCA track for an hour, stopping every so often to plank for an average of 30 seconds. Tomorrow, I will do the same thing with an extra challenge: make those planks 45 seconds.
I am excited for tomorrow!
