It’s crazy what blue ray screen exposure can do to my brain. Be it emails, social media or Zoom, the culprits for my brain fog are quite underestimated! Thankfully, nothing kicks my mind back into gear than a Bible devotion. With renewed, focused energy, I can enjoy the simple things in life.
Simple things like…well, like…
Like powering through my daily twenty-minute neighborhood walk. Or feeding uprooted dandelions and vines to the goats. Or collecting an assortment of leftovers from my health bag in the fridge and concocting “simmer-fry.”
Simple things like gulping water from my everlasting half-gallon Mason jar while reading my sixth Jane Karon book in twelve days while laying out in the brisk spring sunshine whilst cradling my sister’s white and brown puppy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in my lap as the teething youngster gnaws her 200th stick.
Things like sentence fragments.
Yeah, I like the simple things.
